Default Turbo 350 Vacuum Line Routing

My 1968 Firebird has a 350 transmission that now has a piece of rubber vacuum hose to the modulator. I ordered a factory hard line to replace it but don’t understand how it is supposed to be routed. It has an “S” bend at what I believe to be the upper section at the engine. Does anyone have a photo of a 1969 model vacuum line with a 350 trans?. 1968s didn’t come with a 350 trans from the factory. Thanks. Jim

the vacuum modulator of the st 300 2 speed is in the same place as the turbo 350. the steel line should fit the same way 68 to 69 . The difference might be the modulator used, stock or aftermarket

Ok. Thanks. Did the factory route use a vacuum source from behind the carb?
