Default 70 GTO parts available for Norwalk

I'll be at Norwalk next weekend and have some left over stuff from my GTO project that I can bring. Much of it is new reproduction and I believe my pricing reflects a desire to move it.

As I am travelling with friends (wives need the truck for shopping), parts can only be delivered to the track Saturday afternoon (at time to be determined) or we can meet anywhere between the track and the Sandusky strip Saturday evening once we head back for supper. We can also meet up at the track Sunday morning or again in the afternoon (time to be determined).

Prices are USD, cash only. Please do not say you will take something if you have no intention of following through, as it will be a PITA to explain a pile of parts that I am bringing back to Canada and convince the border agent that they were already mine and not subject to import tax .

Send me a PM for the items you want and I will update the ad to show what is gone. I am loading my truck this coming Thursday night, so only items that have been committed to by then will be brought down.

At this time, I am only selling these parts for pickup at Norwalk and will not ship. If anything is not sold, I will look at shipping elsewhere at a later date.

New parts:

-reproduction quarter window sash channels, does not include weatherstripping (came from PY), slightly different than what Ames sells $10

-reproduction taillight set $150

-reproduction rad cap $15

-front fender to rad support brackets (these are improved and thicker than OEM) $15

-adjustable HEI vacuum advance (came off a Pertronix flamethrower, never used) $10

-reproduction gas cap $10

-reproduction vent line bracket & screw $5

-reproduction parking break pedal pad (I don't think it is correct for 70) $5

-gas tank insulation $15

-reproduction seat piping set $50

-rad support to front bumper filler panel $50

-reproduction formula wheel Sold

-trunk drop off plug $5

-outer door & quarter window felt sets (note: I bought this set just for the driver side quarter window felt as the first one I installed did not fit well on the aftermarket quarter panel that is on my car. The one from this set fit slightly worse so I did not use it.) $50

-1970 Catalina/Bonneville B-body assembly manual $20

-Griffin rad cap (17 PSI) $5

-ram air vent tube & grommet (notes: tube is zinc plated where originals were bare steel. It has a defect in it where the flange that fits against the grommet was created, it is split there and would leak air. It will require welding up the split to make it usable). $10

-Dash knob Ames #A274LJ $3

Used parts:

-black seat back and side covers. They have some scratches and are just starting to fade in a few spots, would be great for a driver, they just were not good enough to go with a complete new interior in my car. $100

-front fender parking light lenses. LH side has no cracks, good condition $30 RH side has a crack in the lens but still usable $15

-tack strips for headliner. These were cleaned and then primed in black epoxy. This is all of the pieces except for 2 small ones at the rear of the car. $50

-piece of hood brace from a 1970 hood. If you are putting the 68-70 repro hood on your car, be aware that the bracing is not correct for 1970 and will rub against the 70 fan shroud. The fix is to cut out the section of incorrect brace and weld in the proper piece from a 70 hood, then some minor filler & priming. The back side that will not be visible has some pitting but the front will be fine once blasted and welded in place. I will attach some pics of the work required when I have time. $10

-stainless trim for door and quarter panels. I had several sets and buffed them all then used the best ones for my project. What is for sale is a pair for the rear quarter panels, and 3 top pieces + 3 bottom pieces for the door panels (so enough to do a complete car with an extra set for the door panels). They are not perfect, but very good. $50

Let me know if you have any questions. I am out of town for work the next few days and my response could be delayed.

Thanks for your interest
