Default Edelbrock 5767 springs on 6x heads

I have a set of almost new edelbrock #5767 valve springs that come on many standard edelbrock aluminum RPM heads, they are not the hyd roller springs. Specs on link below.

Trying to determine if these can be used on stock 6x type heads, the ad says they are for "OEM" heads using edelbrock RPM cams, I dont know enough about spring specs or installed height details to know if they can work on 6x heads. The cam would be nothing too big, close to the specs of the rpm cam around .480 lift.

No, that 1.830” installed height is for factory ra4 heads.

6X heads with stock length valves(‘exh 4.950”. Int 4.970” ) and a freshen up valve job will have between a 1.568” and a 1.609” installed height with the stock retainer and the .030” thick oil splash shield.

If you're putting new valves in the 6X heads to replace old heavy original valves you can buy longer valves and use your Eddie springs for a greater lift cam

True and then that unfortunately locks you into needing longer push rods also.

I have had a couple of Eddy heads that were not 1.800 IH. 1.760
Measure your IH on the Eddy heads. I used "normal" D port length 5.100 Ferrera 5000 series in my 6X-4
