My son (72 C10 )has a chance to buy this engine from a guy for a lot less, still new. I've never heard of this company. Any body got any experience with them?

Friend of mine put one of their 383 long blocks in his car. No issues & less money than rebuilding what he had.

No personal experience with them, many times while watching the program, Engine Masters, you'll hear them mention that a whole engine, or certain parts such as cylinder heads were sourced from "Blueprint Engines".
They have their own line of "New" cylinder heads for popular applications (SBC, LS, SBF). From their website they've been in business since 1982. I do know while they offer daily driver engines, they also offer performance engines such as mentioned above. If you search on the web, they come up as reputable. Being in the auto repair business for decades, I've heard more positive about them than negative. Warranty is 30 months/50,000 miles.

I've never used one, but know people who have, and have heard zero complaints. They have a solid reputation.

They're pretty good engines. Definitely worth buying, especially if it's considerably less than new.

Well, the deal didn't happen. The guy decided to use it for his car even though the cars engine is an Oldsmobile. I don't think the guy knows much about cars if he can't tell the difference between an Olds and Chevy engine.
