Many, many, many things, and I'm not a hardcore GTO guy.

Being a 68 "Judge" is just the tip of the iceberg.

Well, here is a short list after a 5 minute look at the pics.

1. Fake Judge and the wrong year isn't great. Does say "not a Judge in ad"
2. Electric headlight conversion has issues or needs adjustment or something
3. Terrible hood fit
4. Terrible rear bumper fit
5. Terrible "Judge " spoiler fit
6. Dents, evidence of bodywork and filler everywhere, every panel
7. Rust under vinyl roof
8. Door looks to be a different color. (could be lighting, pictures in general are very poor)
9. Wrong steering wheel, gauges, wheels
10. No horn
11. Missing seat back trim
12. Missing or messed-up windlace
13. Painted door latch and some weird upper screw holding it in.
14. Missing clutch pedal trim
15. Terrible carpet installation, especially in rear
16. package shelf cut up with aftermarket speakers
17. Missing trim to right of glove box
18. Cracked dash pad
19. Missing dome light
20. Looks to have had a green, ivy gold, or brown interior OE. Looks to have had the entire interior "painted".
21. Wrong air cleaner
22. Wrong Carburetor
23. Dangerous plastic fuel filter near pump
24. Dented heater box
25. General mess under the hood

That's 25 quick ones just from poor pictures that did not include ANY trunk pics or UNDERNEATH pics. I would expect 25 or more items in those areas. On the typical Hemmings scale, this car would be a 4 to a 4- IMO.

All they need is a red sticker on the air cleaner.

You missed that the seats are 1969 front and back.

I am glad it's just me!
I love looking at the price they are asking!
This makes me realize what a nice old car I have!
If someone would pay 30 K for that, I am sitting on a gold mine with my old car!
I always notice that most 68s are missing the front valance panel chrome trim.

That is the 2nd cheapest 1968-9 GTO on ebay. It may not be a great car but it is in the ball park for cars that are for sale out there. They are all over priced as far as I'm concerned.

It's kinda like a "Where's Waldo" type game. Funny, I knew something was wrong with those seats and missed they were 69's. I am sure I missed much more. The last 68/69 GTO I owned was over 30 years ago. Back to big cars recently. It does have a Pontiac engine so some big bonus points there. Who knows, there may be a buyer out there somewhere even at that insane price. Never hurts to try I guess.

Wow, that thing is a mess.

Painted right over the nylon license plate inserts
No fan shroud
With the exception of the engine I don't think I've ever seen a car with that many wrong fasteners.

"Me and Cinderella, we'll put it all together, we can drive it hooooome...with one headlight"

What a trainwreck. Maybe lyrics from "One Piece at a Time" would be more appropriate. The door is not only misaligned, it's also the wrong color?

Three or four different shades of orange. Must have painted it in the driveway.. at night.. in the fog.
Vinyl roof looks to be painted or still wet from the wash down enhancing the glossy paint. (Water drips on lower back bumper)
69 door panels with misplaced emblems, door lock knobs? oh yeah, hidden under the '69 upper panel
B body AM radio with chrome push buttons
Hood scoop inserts painted
It hurts to think about everything else...

I think they used 3 bottles of Armor All over the entire car.

Just for fun, I went to their E-bay store and looked at some other cars they had for sale. Looked at a 69 Cutlass for 37K. It looked better than the 68/69 GTO. I am sure it had plenty of problems a Oldsmobile expert could find just like the "Pontiac people". Overall, it presented better than the GTO. Still had lots of paint, trim and other issues including rust. Also looked at an AC Cobra, continuation series, their nicest car. Asking 250K for that one. Also looked at 66 GTO convertible, tri-power 4-speed. 70K. It looked better than the GTO in question but had some issues, paint and body and some details. Wasn't terrible. They have quite a few cars for sale. Like any dealer, they have a variety of cars for sale, and you have to figure they are looking to make 40% minimum profit on them. So if you knock off the 40%, IMO that puts them close to their true value in today's market with some exceptions of course.

Its a driver car. For 30k I would not expect a concours winning car. Then again for 30k I would not want to do a full restoration either.
