Getting another one on the road--'68, Muncie, 428 Stratobench Bird.

Car came with three "long" seatbelts with the custom stainless buckles. Tagged 45 C 67. Model 131. I believe these are for the rear.

Can a more knowledgeable indians confirm or correct what I have cobbled together?

I believe:
Stratobenches (black or parchment) only had belts for two in the front.
1968 coupes had belts for three in the rear.

Standard (black) or custom (stainless) buckles were available.

Front belts used the retractors on the outsides. Rears had long belts.

*Non-retractable shoulder belts for the front were only available in the standard buckles. * I am most unsure of this...

Who makes/sells the most correct belts?

All thoughts appreciated. Pictures of what you have cherished...

Camaro Research Group (CRG) has a paper about 67-69 F body Seatbelts and good general info for all GM makes. Maybe you can pull something from it.

The brief notes that the bench is only two and the back seat in '68 is three belts. It appears that the Camaro was a 4-seater in '67 and moved to five. I assume the same for Pontiac.

It launched me into a search for seatbelt codes to confirm 131 is rear.

What cinched two for the front with retractors was the picture at Classic Industries of the parchment bench seat covers which looks like a promo shot.
