My bird is getting repainted and the paint it has on the rear bumper has the two bulged panels painted black like in the picture attached. I can see how they match the front grills, but I have hardly seen any other cars like this. Should the bumper be a solid color or not?

It should be a solid color, or at least that's the way it came from Pontiac.

Actually doesnt look that bad painted black, but yes it should be all one colour. The same as the rest of the car.
