Default 62-63 Factory Tach Bezel Removal

I there a trick to removing the chrome bezel around a 62-63 factory chrome tach or vacuum gauge without breaking the tabs to get it off. I want to take one apart to clean it inside, but don't want to damage the ring if possible. Is there a repro bezel ring available at a reasonable price as well?

Be gentle. I was able to use a metal spudger to evenly lift each tab until I could get a pair of needle nose pliers under the partially raised tab to straighten it.

There is a full page ad in Smoke Signals this month for repro bezels. No web address, but here's the phone number (no idea as to price): 302-734-5200
