Grand Prix dash trim panel - block letters vs. script?

Can anyone say, definitively, which one(s) are correct for what years?

Every '69/'70 I've ever seen had block letters, and every '72 I've ever seen had script.

But, what's correct for a '71? I've seen those go either way. Was it a mid-year change? If so, at what point in the year did they switch? Or did I just happen upon a few which had been swapped later in life?
