Sort of, it is half installed. The unit is completely installed in the cowl area. The wiper post on the drivers side is fine. When the cowl panel is installed, the pass side wiper post is not sticking out high enough to install the wiper arm. Since the car was just painted, I have not taken it apart to see what the issue is. My guess is the metal where the pass side post is connected is not flat. I will eventually take it off and see whats going on.

Just finished one on a '59 Corvette. It was a lot of work.
Directions have pictures, but they are hard to "reference", parts are not labeled and the mfg doesn't seem to know what is what. I did follow their recommendations "to call first", but no answers. They did answer emails, but after a few back and forths, guy I talked to said they bought the company and don't know much about the product. In the end, under the dash - seats out - I bet easy 20+ hours. Painful experience and time consuming. It does work well. Old Corvettes aren't exactly built to a high standard - so had to trim and modify some things. But - 110% better than the OEM cable/pulley mess. |
