Default Rear axle diameter at bearing surface

I have a stock 68 rearend with the usual RW-507-CR axle bearings. Does anyone know what the minimum acceptable diameter is on the axle for the bearing surface? I want to make sure the axles are good before I press on the new bearings. The bearings are speced at 1.378 in on the inner race.

Thanks
OJ
