I've spent hours trying to find some one who has used the repo tri-power end carb bases with no luck. My bases are badly rust pitted and some knuckle dragger replaced the thick butterflys with thin ones that don't fit the bores very well. I would like to try the repops but I have had some bad experience's with offshore products. I can find reviews of their appearance but not of how they perform after they are installed. PLEASE HELP !!! thanks

Contact John at pontiactripower.com or Richard Boneske on this forum to discuss your options. Very knowledgeable on TriPower.

Hopefully before too long one or both will comment here so everyone reading this thread will know what is good or bad about the aftermarket bases.

Just ordered and received a 65 front tripower throttle base plate with the vacuum port from pontiactripower.com and it looks great, completely satisfied, plus their prices are very reasonable.

Although I cannot attest to its performance, as I have not used it yet.

Ames sells the same reproduction bases I use. They are as good or better than OEM. They do not have DAG213 on the throttle plate edges, but the fit is so good that It is usually not necessary.
