Can anyone identify where this plug end goes - it is part of the A/C harness that passes through and comes in from the firewall on a 1972 f-body.

That connector connects to the engine harness. The heavier wire is power from the alternator stud for the blower motor, and the thinner wire goes to the AC compressor clutch.

Super! Much thanks.
I noticed an attaching clip in the harness near where this plug connects in to on the main engine harness. Would you happen to know where that clip is to attach to? It is not the clip that that goes on the top of the transmission/bellhousing - but the clip in the harness is on the passenger side back of head area. |

The plastic clip pushes into the hole in the passenger side spark plug wire separator bracket.
