Default 2004R into the ‘62 Cat

Planning to replace the slimjim with a recently acquired 2004R this winter. Looking to use the Bendtsen adapter plate & flexplate spacer from Butler to mount the trans & starter to the OE 389. Has anyone done this conversion as I would greatly appreciate their input?

If you have a 2.69 rear, you probably will need to go to a 3.23

200-4R's seem to like mid 3's.
