Default Red Line Tiger Paws

I recently upgraded my '68 GTO to a new set of 15" Rally II Wheeles from AMES. Totally stripped all paint and primed and painted them with the three (3) colors like in 1968. Instead of Charcoal, however, they were painted Meridian Turquoise and are now colored keyed as were the factory option Rally IIs in 1968.

Finding a 215/70R15 Red Line is not hard if you want to pay between $260 and $360 per tire. These tires are usually rated 450 Treadwear and A B.
Uniroyal makes a Blackwall 215/70R15 "H" rated tire that is 700 Treadwear A A.

I paid $115 per tire for the five Uniroyal Tiger Paw Blackwall tires here in San Antonio. I found a tire guy in Houston that was able to put the Red Lines on the tires for $50 per tire. My cost per tire was less than $170 per tire including mounting and balance.
The Tiger Paws look great and are a much better tire than the $360 B. F. Goodrich Red Lines. When you add shipping and mounting for the Goodrich tires the cost approaches $400 per tire. I was able to beat that cost by $200 per tire.
