Pair 64 Casting Cylinder Heads
I have a pair of 1970 455 "64" casting cylinder heads for sale. Just picked these up recently with some other Pontiac parts. Were reworked by Grimes Automotive Machine in Alpharetta, GA. $1200 OBO plus freight.

Good morning, do you happen to know what/all Grimes did to them? It’s hard to tell from the photos but do they look like somebody tried porting at all?

To me it looks like the ports have been cleaned up a little. But by no means would I call them ported. I will post some more photos tomorrow. Thanks.

Here are some additional photos. I believe I can see the end of a bronze valve guide in one of the intake ports. These heads were in plastic bags that were covered in dust. Unfortunately, Garry nor his son could remember any specifics about these heads.
