Default Phenolic spacers

Have a full set of 1/4 spacers. If I am going to use non-ethanol gas, do I need them?

I would try running without them. But keep them where you can find them if you find you are having heat start problems next summer.

Beneficial to use them no matter what fuel you are using

I used them years ago when gasoline was all gasoline with good luck.
