I recently acquired this one owner 69 Judge from original owner with 78k miles.
PHS docs show it to be a pattern car.
It’s led a pretty easy life. Numbers matching engine and drivetrain.
One repaint 20yrs ago.
Apparently trim ring were added by dealer and have been on the car since new.
They look like Olds rings.
Interior is very well preserved.
Even has original exhaust pipes although mufflers were replaced.

Original owner bought it in Spokane from Utter Cadillac. He traded a 65 GTO that had been modified and didn’t run right. He said the Judge was in the showroom surrounded by Caddies and no one was looking at it. Dealer was trying to get rid of it. He also said his mom daily drove it for a few years to work.
She only had to get it into 2nd gear because work was only a couple miles away.

A buddy of mine found it. We bought it together.

I was going to guess late 02B or 02C build week , without the GTO dash emblem or Judge glovebox emblem.

The GTO dash emblem seemed to stay in production through 02B , previously.
And glovebox emblem seems to start in 02D.

Yours is the first 02A without a GTO emblem.

Delivered to 993 before dealership. Seems strange for an 02A build.

Can't access my files , but John or North might look.
Think we have them going to 991 992 993 and 994
991 and 992 most dominant iirc

From what I remember they are different site locations within a Zone.
Data pulled from various scarce buildsheets in the past.
John probably has some of the addresses listed in his dealer data base.

His car was pretty late going out to the dealer in regards to a Pattern.
My 02C Non-Pattern went to it's dealer almost 2 weeks before his went to the dealer.

991 is most common. There should be a 995 recorded somewhere. It's just the timing of when it was built and the release date of The Judge is what just seems weird.

Oh okay.
All the patterns went to/through Zone storage facilities .
Following suite with their zone orders / zone order numbers.

Appears some were spoken for quickly - or even in advance.
Some were stragglers and left waiting for dealers to make the call.
This one was a semi-straggler.

For years most of us thought the patterns stopped in week 02B.
North/John have found one or more examples in their files built 02C.
John sent me the invoice and trim tag for an 02C built in Arlington.
Order 00068 , went through Zone 24-992
Shipped to Phoenix AZ dealer on 2/28

The normal/common release time frame on the January pre-built cars was around Feb 5 and afterwards.
Not to be without some limited exceptions.

Zone 25 has the following cars accounted for

Zone 25
= 26, 32, 45, 53 , 61, 62, 63

I don't have the files to see which were 991 992 993 etc in zone 25
Or the ship to dealer dates

This was car #53
In our theory , there were potentially at least 10 more pattern cars built later than this one for that zone.
The 991 992 993 designators do throw another parameter into the mix , as far as effecting potential ship dates.
Lesser or higher demand from the various 991 992 993 etc holding lots they went to.

Yes, that is a Pattern Judge, #53 in Zone 25.

For about the past 15 years in a row there has been an Orange 69 Judge Ram3 4spd car at BJ that brings 100k or better .
This one should keep that streak going this year.

Saw a purple 2016 Hellcat Challenger cross the block online today for $55k - that seemed low .
A 65 Ford convertible that looked a lot like a 65 GTO at a glance - went in the 30s
I think The Judge has a weekend time slot.
