Wow! I dont think I have ever even seen one on a 69 bird. I have the fenderwell part, a harness, and something else in a box off my 69 GTO. Would it be the same?

Agreed. However and despite the rarity, I do think that this car would be worth restoring in the future. So.. I'm starting with trying to find the hard parts. Yes I started to part it out but then changed my mind.
