Default 1969 Pontiac AM Radio Tuning Light

I've had a lot of 1969 Pontiac AM-radios in my lifetime. For some reason, the one in my 2+2 has a tuning light I've never seen before.

Pictured below lit green, it can also indicate yellow or red.* This is very much like the red tuning light on the FM radios, but this is vanilla AM.

It's a standard GM AM Radio body.**

Has anyone seen a tuning light on one of these before?* I can't explain it, but it seems entirely factory, and is definitey 69 Pontiac.* But maybe it's from a GTO or something, I have no idea!

Thanks!
Dave
