considering how much headers are now in general maybe find a fab shop that can make them for you.

Where is the steering box located? In front of the spindle or behind? Also, in relation to the front control arm bushing where does #1 spark plug sit? Stick shift or automatic?
1st gen Firebird has the steering behind the spindle for reference

I am using first generation FB round port Doug’s on my ‘63 but they are not a bolt in deal. I moved the motor back an inch and to the passenger side a 1/2” and still may need a small dent in one tube to clear the pitman arm as it turns.
Getting a set fabbed is very pricey, at least around here.

Default Round-port long-branch manifolds work, but are more expensive than custom headers.

We've got a set or R.A.R.E. round-port long-branch manifolds with the larger (2 1/2") collectors.

It's the only 2 1/2" collector set that I've ever seen 'in the wild'.

We had a pair of factory RAII manifolds several years ago that we sold for $2500.

We'd sell our oversize R.A.R.E. manifolds for $3k for the pair.

They're like new, but have been run minimally.

Trying to talk my kids to get er dun. We'll see.
