Default 1980 Trans Am Pace Car

A wire rubbed against the distributor and did some electrical shorting very sad

I put the wiring back
my question is there is a fusible link for a wire going to the alternator

I put back with 10 gauge wire

Can i use a 30 amp in line fuse or do I need A 10 GAUGE FUSEIBLE LINK

The factory had something like a white Lincoln log style

just checking can i use a 30 amp inline fuse???

As Always thanks again
