About a year ago I redid a factory clock for the 67 Gp convertible. Went with a Quartz Conversion kit. First time something with the gears was jacked up and it was slow and eventually broke. But I put a new one in and it’s still ticking perfectly a year later! They make them for almost anything out there to my knowledge.
Here’s my video testing it before putting the case on. https://youtube.com/shorts/I8ePp3UWs...qfKGHIgPy20fa6 I could entertain doing electric clock conversions for people, but would have to figure out how much to charge. |

Just FYI: The first old car clock that you try to do; there is a learning curve. Plus sometimes the original GM car clocks are rusted inside, that or the set stem-gear is damaged and/or broken. After 50+ years expect that you may need 2 used original clocks to make one good working clock today, using their new kit as the movement. Make sure you watch the instructional video first, it is very helpful. They copied it to a DVD; that used to come inside of the box with every new clock kit but now, I guess, to save some $ the DVD movie no longer comes with the kit. They have posted that same video on U-tube for free.
