Default 73 Firebird door panel repair

Are there replacement upper braces available for 2nd Gen firebirds? These are the plastic pieces at the top of the door panel that rolls over to form the top of the panel.
This is also the piece the window sweeps are stapled to. My plastic pieces are braking into pieces. If no repop is available who has had luck gluing metal strips in place to add support to what is there?

F body warehouse has something they call "upper door panel trims" which may be what you are looking for.

I have repaired them using ABS cement. I did not need to glue any metal strips to it as this cement is very strong. It helps to bevel or V the area of the repair to create a channel for the adhesive to fill into.

Those upper door panel trims install on the outside top of 3 piece door panels, not the inside plastic reinforcement OP is referring to. Pretty sure these upper door trims were only used on camaros, firebird/TA didnt use that style of door panel.

I havent seen the inner plastic sections reproduced yet but they should be for all the broken ones.. the PUI repro door panels use a metal piece in that area that doesnt install right & leaves the top part of the door panel flopping around unless you screw it down, not sure if the better legendary panels use the correct plastic piece in that area.
