One the best days of the year the Tri-State swap meet in Denver. Three floors of parts and more parts. The Western stock show is held before the swap meet so still has that lingering smell of livestock poo. There is a 50/50 mix of some overpriced car parts with a nice mix of sellers just wanting to get rid of stuff. I usually leave with a wagon full of stuff.

Some people look forward to Christmas I look forward to this swap meet. The best part is on the way home there is a junkyard that is only open on Saturdays, Speedway Salvage. The son only has time to open on Saturdays since his father passed away. His dad fit the part of an old junkyard owner, clothes were a little tattered, smelled of oil and chewed on an old cigar. His prices were always reasonable, but you had to haggle with him. I have not been there in about 5 years hopefully it is still open.
