I am wanting to use a set of .030 domed L2394 455 TRW pistons in an engine. I am guessing the ring size to be 1/16 1/16 and 3/16. Can anyone confirm that this is the ring size?

I would have to confirm that for you this afternoon when I get home to dig out my old TRW catalog, but in general stock 455 pistons where not 5/64 5/64, the 2nd ring was smaller.

Does Summit show TRW/SP pistons for Pontiac?
It should be the same rings for all of them. Seems it was like in your link. Not sure of the oil rings though. 1/16" 1/16" and 1/8" maybe? Could be 3/16" for oil rings but wait for Steve's catalog info I guess.

Thanks for your replies. That would be great if you didn't mind looking these up in a catalog, Steve. It would be greatly appreciated. These appear to have different ring sizes than some L2359 flat top 455 Pistons that I have. The domed pistons have narrower ring grooves.

I have a 1999 Speed-Pro catalog.
It has a Power Forged piston listed under Pontiac with these numbers: L2394NF 4.151 bore L2394NF 30 4.181 bore Both listed with the following: 1/16 1/16 3/16 Rings 19.3 Dome Volume .476 Dome 1.500 Comp Dist. 0.0050 Bore Clearance .

Here yah go.
Before you order any set of rings measure how deep the ring grooves are in these pistons and call total seal to confirm that there rings will just tuck into the groove.

Just to report back on this in case anyone else has this question, the total seal rings I listed worked perfectly on these pistons and sealed off nicely within the first 5 minutes of breaking the engine in.
