Default scratched door glass and ways to prevent it

Curious what others have done to resolve this problem where the worn door felts scratch the glass?
The brackets are avail with new felts repop but, can you just replace the felts?
Curious what others have done to solve the problem.
There must be something inexpensive avail to mend this problem on our birds.
thanks

New or good used felt pads. You can replace just the felt, think I saw some repro felt out there somewhere.

The "fix" is to adjust the pads so they arent so tight, its a trade off between tight windows that dont rattle vs not so tight it scratches.

Also the window sweeps can cause or contribute to scratches... there are 2 wide felt pads on the sweeps that the glass rides against, those can scratch too if the felt is worn or glass is to tight against them.

thanks for the input.
If anyone knows where to buy just the felts, let me know. I have several Firbirds and do not want to buy a ton of brackets I do not need.

thanks much! I was hoping to find it in a roll, etc for a quantity but, this link you provided is way better than buying new brackets, etc that are not needed.
