Default 66 Slotted adj. rod

While in the Carolinas the last month, I acquired a mismatched Tri power set up.
65 intake, complete correct rear carb partially complete front correct carb, a junk 65 chevy center and complete 66 correct center. My question is this... The center 66 had attached a short slot adjustment rod. I have a repo long slot I need to send out for re-plating. Which would you use for authenticity's sake. Thanks in advance.

???? the 66 center carb is the large base. The correct 65 center is a small base. 66 will not fit on 65 manifold.
The first one looks more original I think

thanks. I purchased everything because of the end carb parts as well as the large base 66 carb and linkage. I don't need the 65 intake. Already scrapped the junk 65 chevy unit that was small base.
I believe the rod on the right in the picture is an actual an OEM 66. That is what I am trying to get confirmed for my 66 TP resto.
Regards

The long slot is correct for '66.

OK. Curios as to what the short slot rod was used on. In the GTO resto guide book it says that the short slot was a 66 pc. and was replaced with the long slot at some point.
