This is a very solid mostly original 98% complete and intact restoration project that has been completely off the radar for 40 years. Equipped with A/C, A/T, P/S,Landau Top, Rally Pac Gauges, 160mph speedometer, 'Bird Glass' driver and passenger sides, Spring Mist Green Poly paint w/black Landau Top and interior. I haven't checked the VIN stamp on the block yet but can verify it is the correct YT code w/#16 heads, correct carb, brackets, A/C, Radiator, clutch fan, shroud, metal, grill. Not correct are the rims, stereo, and air cleaner. Missing is most of the badging. Which may be due to the fact that it looks like it was just about to undergo a backyard paint job just before it was parked in 1986. Much of the original paint is still showing through. The underside of the car is amazingly clean and shows no evidence of collision damage anywhere. I've also thoroughly inspected every inch of the car from the bottom of the doors and rockers to under the back seats etc etc for rust and it only came up with the driver side rear wheel well back of the tire at the bottom as well as dead center of the rear windshield between the trim or the windshield and the trim for the Landau top is a approximately 1 in hole. Other than a couple of bubbles on the wheel will lip on the passenger side the car is very sound and sturdy. All Glass is good the board of rock chips and cracks. The interior is intact and together other than one door panel however it looks like it will all need replacing. The dash has no cracks but my suspicion is it's probably stiff and will crack with any usage. The body panels for the most part are very straight and gaps as if they were from the factory. There is evidence of some skim coats Bondo in a couple of spots. The bumpers to are straight and fit it as if they left the factory however will definitely need re-chroming. I've yet to open the trunk as the key didn't work or the lock with jammed and I didn't want to damage the rear panel going through the lock but I'll try to go through the back seats to gain access today. And the missing air cleaner and badging very well may be in the trunk. But also they're very well be rust over the gas tank I wasn't able to detect from underneath in the trunk due to the hole under the rear windshield. But again nothing was detectable from underneath and I took that into consideration. This is an outstanding example of a restoration starter with an unmolested well-optioned desirable car of which seems to me are becoming increasingly difficult to find at the lower price tier. This car is 11,500. I took a lot of detailed pictures however most of them came out very blurry due to dirty lens so I will post some of the clear ones that I have and get more and will send a link to a photo album to whomever might request. Also, this is the first time I've ever posted on a forum and I'm not quite sure how it typically works but I will be insistent that the purchaser ( or proxy) lay hands (be physically present) on the vehicle at some point prior to purchase. With respect to that I specifically did not advertise this car locally as I believe it deserves a Pontiac enthusiast specifically. The car is located in El Dorado California 95623
