I know this is like one in a billion chances that someone has one. But I've honestly wanted to put a shacker hood on 77 lemans. If someone has one or know how to fabricate a f body to fit im all ears.

Lol right I just decided to throw this out there. I wish I could find a can am hood. The shaker it self isn't that hard to find i could a decent one for around a 100 bucks and a tank of gas. Lol but I don't feel like butchering my hood just for the look.

The shaker for the Can Am is unique to the car also as it has a pretty tall base on it to get it up in the hood opening. Also there were not many 403 powered Can Ams which may have had a slightly different shaker as the Trans Ams do, so finding that would be even more difficult if they are in fact different from the 400 powered cars. I would think finding a NACA hood would be more likely and more affordable while still giving you a better than stock look for your car.

Have put up in my building a center section out of a CanAm hood, about 2 ft wide, extending forward from the back of the hood to well past the front of the hood scoop hole.
This can be used to make a pattern, & then a hole cut out of a standard LeMans hood. All of the edge material is in nice shape. Have sold the last super straight LeMans hoods I've had, as well as a damaged CanAm hood which was bought for the same special edge molding, for the same purpose. $400 + actual FedEx ground to a business, prob cheapest ship.

There is a 1977 Can Am project/parts car for sale outside of NYC on Long Island for $3,300 which is rough but looks mostly complete. Get your hood and shaker and rear spoiler all in one deal. Looks like it has the pontiac motor in it. Can be seen on Craigslist NYC under cars for sale. Search Pontiac.
