The guy I bought it from said it did come from his 1976 Trans Am but not sure of the breakdown on part number. Guys correct me if I am wrong but his radio should fit 1977 on down 2nd Gen Firebirds

Yes, will fit the '70-7 dash pad. But, DELCO logo will let knowledgeable people know it's a late '76-77 unit.
