I need to make sure I have everything hitting the correct points for boost reference. I have 4 items that receive a signal: Blow Off Valve (BOV), Aeromotive Fuel Regulator A2000, MSD Boost Timing Master (BTM) and Boost Gauge on dash.
Currently I have the Regulator getting its signal from the Carb Hat - This is the only thing referencing there. Currently Below Carb blades in base plate of carb is BOV, BTM and Boost Gauge ran from a single 1/4" push lock style air hoses and full size tees. I am thinking I need to change the below carb blades to a tapped source in the intake or perhaps a 1" open spacer with a port. Just checking with the Pro's before I step on this thing. BTM, BOV, BG need to see manifold pressure/vacuum. boost reference needs to be in the bonnet, as close to the primary carb vent tube as possible. from the video, it looks as though a pressure tap could be threaded into the hat at the front and low next to the vent tube

Nice build! The reason why you put the fuel pressure regulator reference line in the hat so that the fuel bowl pressure matches the FPR line. If you put it in the manifold, what happens is when you let off the throttle the FP will go to Zero psi due to the high vacuum in the FPR reference line. Also the carb is a restriction so there's a pressure difference from above and below the carb. You want to match the rise of the fuel pressure to the hat so that the regulator is more than the hat psi. Otherwise you will have issue with fuel flow and it will have a negative pressure. The fuel won't flow in an extreme condition.
