I was told this might be a good place to start my search. I don't have the VIN #.
Hello everyone, I am trying to track down the 1964 Pontiac GTO hardtop coupe that I originally ordered new. Here are the exact factory specs:Body: Hardtop Coupe (Twin fake hood scoops)Exterior: Aquamarine Metallic with a White topInterior: White/Parchment interior with the optional simulated wood Custom Sport steering wheelDrivetrain: 389ci V8 (4-barrel carb), Jetaway automatic transmissionHistory: Early production phase. I traded it in at Big R Volkswagen, Inc. in Big Rapids, Michigan in 1968.I do not have the VIN. If anyone owns an Aquamarine '64 matching this description, or has seen one in registries matching a Michigan delivery history, please let me know! I know this is a long shot, but have run into deadends elsewhere. Other ideas appreciated. Thanks. |

Just so I'm clear: aquamarine with a white top. Was the top a two tone (painted?) or vinyl?
I'm near Lansing so I'll keep my eyes peeled. K
