I want to install offset upper control arm shafts on my GTO. It appears that they area not going to be coming out with the engine in the car without getting the bolts out. Has anyone got a remedy for removing these upper control arms with engine in the car?

Remove the 4 UCA bolts by using a piece of wood and a long pry bar.
During reassembly, use new bolts. |

Has anyone had any luck using a ball joint press or C clamp to remove the upper control arm bolts with engine in the car?

I used fillers/spacers against the exhaust manifolds, wood and metal plates tight against head of bolt. Then used nut to push bolt out. be careful installing new bolts back in making sure splines are started straight. Good luck.
