dual exhaust crossmember for 77

Does anyone offer a transmission crossmember that will work with a dual exhaust on a 77 grand prix with TH400?

Any 1973-74 gm a-body except El Camino should work. If you search 1973-1977 GM A-body cross member for what ever reason it doesn’t list Grand Prix. I have a 75 GP and I used a crossmember from a 73 Lemans.

https://www.crossmembers.com/product...ember-hardtops This one would work.

If memory serves, its been awhile, I used a LeMans crossmember on my 77 GP also.

It might work, but if I remember correctly the 73-77 G bodies used a tubular cross member, and the 73-77 A bodies uses a flatter stamped cross member. I may still have the cross member I pulled out of a 73 GP a few years ago in storage. I will try and remember to look for it this weekend.

From my understanding the difference was the transmission. The flat stamped piece was for Turbo 350's the tubular was Turbo 400. They both work with either trans. My crossmember is from a 73 LeMans that had a Turbo 350, my GP has a turbo 400 I used the stamped style. Basically all the 2 door GM Colonnade bodies are the same from the firewall back. Did the same thing on my step bro's 74 Cutlass, removed a 350 Turbo 350 installed a 455 Turbo 400 used the stamped Turbo 350 crossmember just had to move the crossmember back to the rear holes in the frame.

Thanks! I'd be interested in it if you wanted to get rid of it.

If I still have it I would be willing to sell it, where are you located? Shipping will probably be expensive due to its size.

I'm in South Dakota, and am used to being beat up on shipping haha. It's gotten especially bad the last few years it seems. Gotta pay to play!
