They loan out the lock plate removers at most chain parts stores for a deposit. Word of advice though, be careful working around that cancel cam. They love to break during removal and installation.

I thought I read somewhere that the handles were supposed to be at the 9 O'Clock position (pass side) 3 O'Clock (drv side) when the window was closed. Where it stopped when open was based on that.

I thought it was just me. I had mine converted about 20 years ago. It does that same sort of stopping with me too on occasion, usually when driving. I have a Challenger that's been converted too...
