My last motor was a .060 400 block 4.5 stroke for 496 cu in with a 11ish to 1 comp 248/254 HRC w/butler 315 E heads. Never dyno'd it but a a guy with the same motor as mine in a GTO with a TKO600...

I run 6000 Rpm and hasn't been a problem. Maybe 550-575 HP

I guess it has be in my rear end or trans. I am going to try running it on the stands without the wheels and brake rotors and see if that changes anything.

I hooked up the holley high idle solenoid today...

I hooked up the holley high idle solenoid today and it makes running the AC much easier. Took me a little time to get it adjusted just right.

I am running manifold vacuum advance and and idles...

I unhooked all the vacuum and capped them off. No differences. Best vacuum I can get out of it is 11" with or without everything hooked up.

I did get it to idle with the AC on with the idle set...

Mine is pretty short at 49" so they recomended 3.5 steel, alum or chromoly.
Not sure why these kits can't provide a drishaft that doesn't vibrate.

Well Got the pinion angle fixed and still...

Well

Got the pinion angle fixed and still has a vibration. Ran it on the jack stand with out the drive shaft and no vibration.

The rear end has been gone through so I ordered a chromoly drive...

I just did a 3" race pro. I really like it but it is suprising quiet. Sounder good when you get on it. The X takes the motorboat sound away and makes it sound like a more modern muscle car.
