Default What a Pontiac looks like after hitting a moose

A friend of mine was driving his '65 Catalina 4d sedan monday evening and a moose jumped up in front of him.
He luckily survived the crash with just three ribs broken, some bruises and of course a bit beat up, but he will recover.

First, a "before" picture...

After the crash...

The scary thing about mooses is that they're so tall (6' 5") and heavy (1,000 lbs) and when you hit them
you hit hit them in the middle of their long legs and the body of it gets on top of the car and lowers the roof

The car had about 100,000 miles on it and came from Michigan a year ago and was in a prettty good condition.

I don't know about you but I'm considering getting seat belts in my wagon.
Where I live I see deers every day and mooses quite often but I'm lucky enough to never hit any. Yet...
