Yeah, this is the same fan/shroud in a Powerpack version, which is the one step smaller one I was talking about:

It won't cover it completely, but it still will work just fine. You're losing very little coverage if you do the math.

Controllers they make are great, Derale had some issues with the non-PWM ones, and the early PWM ones, but the new ones are excellent.

All the 'bad' reviews I've seen are like 4+ years old. Many problems are due to the car's wiring, installer's wiring, bad battery, and/or bad alt. I know 3 people who have been using them for 3+ years, not a problem, and fairly high mile-driven cars (50-70k range).

If it doesn't work, send it back. Buy it through Summit or Jegs and they will refund immediately. If you're concerned about the controller, get the non-Powerpack one, and use a Dakota Digital or PAC one.
