Someone just jumped on that '65. I'm not surprised. I think that's a very fair price for what it is.

A car like that about 4 years ago would fetch $4K more IMO.

I plan on selling the 69 350 HO convertible in Champagne with a green interior and green top. It's currently triple white and the drive train (400) is rebuilt. I think I'll list it here first, then send it over to Gateway to see if I can get the min out of it. Too old to restore 4 cars, so time to let it go... before Jr. sends it to Craigslist for $1000.

68 GTO in Florida at $5K reserve not met. Whether or not it came with all the options it has, the extra credit options look horrible IMO. The Judge wing, "Look at my GTO" on the dash, chrome scoops, painted American flag on the gas tank, the Hurst bling are all wrong. It is a nice car tho, just went too far.

If I'm reading the BHC correctly, it was originally a 400 2bbl engine in it.
(if you can't dazzle em with performance ....... )

Yep
#34 6 = 2bbl engine
#37 C = 2.56 axle

Its a nice good looking car other than some of the things mentioned by Thews.
The chrome alternator pulley took several re-focuses to see it wasnt a double pulley with 2 belts , with 1 belt going nowhere. (reflection)

To bring back a term from earlier in this thread...that '68 needs some massive de-cheesification. Wouldn't take too much to class it up. It's a pretty color combo. Kind of a bummer it was originally a 2bbl, but I can get behind working with what you have.
