I've got one now ... had it for about six months now, it's been on one battery or another the ENTIRE 6 months. So far it's been great.
I also used its battery recovery option on one for sure dead battery, now tests fine on a load tester ... not sure I would trust it in an important vehicle, but it did take it from dead to showing good on a 150 amp tester. |

I have their jump starter and am very happy. Is this just like a trickle charger?

I'm pleased with my Noco Genius 1 also. Very versatile little unit.

Thanks for the tip. I ordered up the 2a version on Prime Day to replace my bulky 20 year old Battery Tender.

I have four now. And a Battery Tender Jr. and two smart/desuphating chargers, and a 50a 6/12v dumb charger (good for adding a surface charge to a really ded battery so a smart charger will fire up) and a 200A roll around just because.
And a couple of jump boxes... Haven't been driving the herd much lately, just the DDs. |

I’ve got a bulky old school Sears battery charger too. Haven’t used it for batteries in years, but it works great as an electrolysis tool to remove rust from parts!

Thanks!
I have to keep shifting my one old charger between vehicles and have been thinking about evaluating and purchasing a second one. My Genius 1 arrived today. |

BTW Check occasionally for the red (bad battery) light.
Periodically Sam's has a $20 off sale on AGMs (one is usually around Christmas). Have learned to keep a spare H6 and 34/78 on hand. Florida is hard on batteries. |
