Nick,
Pretty cool!
Check out the link to the blower kit for 2004 GTO on the CP site. Supposedly good for 100+HP over stock . Bet that would send some of the naysayers home scratching their heads!

Cool. Is it me, or did the driver's reaction time seem really slow?
I look forward to making performance mods to my new Goat, but I'm not doing anything that will void the warranty. So, for now, she's strictly a cruiser. I found some wheels I like, American Racing Mohave's. And I ordered the Pontiac valve stem covers. Woohoo, big time! LOL

Yeah, I don't know anything about drag racing but man looked awful slow at the light but did you see that thing get out and go though!
Thoughts on total mod costs?

3) BMR Subframe connectors?? WTF? I thought it was a full frame car? Are they subframed?

The 2004 GTO is not a full framed car at all.

I wish they hadn't had the stupid soundtrack going so you could hear the engine.

Reaction time has nothing to do with your 1/4 mile time or mph. You could sit there all day long and as long as you don't roll out of the beams, the clock doesn't start counting. Have you ever been to the drag strip before?

Correct, but it sure hurts your chances of winning....

Only in bracket racing. During a test and tune nite it don't mean crap.
BTW: The GTO went 11.4@119 last week with the Nitrous upped to a 150 shot.

There is nothing to win in a time trial, but it does matter...
Only in bracket racing.
What are you tuning up for? If you are tuning up to race, then reaction time is important. That should be one of the things you are tuning...
