Latest project:

'87 SWB Chevy pickup...

I owned this truck when it was new, and then sold it to my father in law in 1991.

He passed away last August so now I have it back!

Mechanically it was in pretty good shape but cosmetically he beat the crap out of it.

New:

As received:

So far:

It's been keeping me busy!

Making any changes to it Keith?? Or are you restoring it to stock?

By the way, I noticed your bringing the 65 GTO to Chicago in November. I look forward to meeting you.

It's going back stock, and should look exactly like new (...maybe a little better...) except I will not be reinstalling the fender nameplates.

Yes - I'll be there and am looking forward to it as well.

Somebody left the gate open and the animals got out....

Just a pony and some goats - the parts shelf behind the Mustang is my 68. Three more are elsewhere - I gotta build my barn!

L-R 51k, 92k, 54k original miles.

Ok,so now i can add a few more photos as i've at least have gotten the garage enclosed and i'm getting close to adding siding and hopefully my 65 project will go in B4 theres snow on the ground. It's 18'x24' w10' walls, pvc airline on 3 walls, wired for use of 120/240 needs.I just recently and FINALLY obtained a second entry door and i'll share a pic of it.Here's a few shots and if ok,i'll throw some more up later.

Default My humble abodes..

Been a slow progression up...

First garage.. Got it for $300, used it for 2 years. Even had an old shop furnace in it to help heat during the winter.

Moved and upgraded.. Single and a 1/2.. Can't believe I used to work in this.. Clutter Fest..

New place (first place I've owned). Garage was a big part of the selling feature of the house.

This is my garage, 13 plus ceiling, lift 44x48 holds 10 cars well and 12 tight. 2nd floor for putting parts in and a man cave of course. I waited 8 years and it took my 1st deployment to Iraq to pay for it but it is quite awseome to have. I built it entirely by myself with some help from my brother. has 200 amp underground svc, large compressor hard lined in from the attached shed, blast cabinet, tire machine, and a fridge Mark

Here is my garage on Thursday August 20 and then again on Friday August 21, 2009. Lightning struck my neighbors tree and bounced on the garage burning it to the ground along with everything you need to do a restoration including the car.
