Default Burned Oil Smell?

My 02 T/A has a burned oil smell in the interior. I havent noticed any oil on the ground and nothing that sticks out under the hood. Any idea what could be causing this? and what I can do to cure the issue?

Default Oil smell

Would look at your valve cover gaskets. If you have never touched them they may be leaking depositing oil on you manifolds. Start there. Process of elimination is best. Have you done anything to the drive train recently?

I just bought the car so I haven't done a thing to it yet. I do know it is bone stock with only 7700 miles. I will check the valve covers and go from there.

Valve covers are dry, but the oil pan is leaking a little. I hope a light snugging of the bolts will do the trick.

Check the PCV valve and the other valve cover vent lines. Depending on miles, they get nasty soft and fall apart.

did you say 7.7K?
WOW
It may smell because its pissed off that it has been driven more
kinda like keeping a thoroughbred in the barn its whole life

look for a burnt oil smell on the outside and see if its near the fresh air intake to the interior

Yes the car only has 7700 miles. Which is probably why the oil pan is letting a little oil pass in a couple spots. I re-torqued the bolt and cleaned everything up as best I could and the smell is almost gone. I need to get it on a lift and clean the under carriage properly.
