Default How do I install Dougs Headers on Ram Air IV 1969 GTO

It says I need to change to the 1965 clutch z-bar so has anyone installed these on a 69 GTO and what do I need to change?Do I also need to change to the 65 return springs on the Z-bar and also the frame mount that is welded to the frame on a 65 GTO whereas the 69 bolts on but may not work with the 65 z-bar.Also do I need to change the clutch rod coming out of the firewall to the 65 rod?Anything else that needs to be changed Id appreciate any help on this so I can get the parts orderd so I dont have car sitting for a long time. Thanks

the frame side shouldn't be your concern. The '69 has a "knuckle" joint that bolts to the block. I'm guessing you'll need to replace this with the ball that screws into the block side of a '65.
