Angry Parts

How about drip rail molding to be sold in bulk. Never mind I need it for a 62 Catalina 2 dr. Post, just sell it in bulk. I'll do the bending, cutting and trimming.
How about door panels for 59-64 Catalina's??? More Catalina's end up at car shows than Bonneville's and G/P's yet they make panels for them instead.
Reproduction 63-64 326 flags have a brother in the catalogue...389 flags made to look like 326 flags, only the flags are not in the full size car catalogue- they are in the GTO Lemans catalogue. There are certainly a lot more full size cars with 389's than Tempest!

Why oh why list a part # and description and say discontinued!

I'd like to see amber lenses made for the 66 and 67 GTOs. Years ago I saw a 67 GTO in Rochester, NY with amber pk lenses. Looked sharp. Would be a nice option to replace the clear lenses.

If anyone lives near Fort Meyers, Florida, there used to be a factory that made lenses for most anything. I actually delivered resin to them back in the 80s. If you could find the place send me their address and phone number. I'll look into having them made if no one else will.

Once again how about the 64 gto wood wheel. Beautiful steering wheel and I think it will sell across many years although not technically "correct"

How about making the right hand dummy remote mirror for 64-68 Pontiacs?
Since the left hand remote mirror is reproduced all it takes is a right hand base being made, so the mirror housing from the repro left hand mirror fits.

Anyone producing the light socket and fiber optic line for ashtrays? I have a 68 GTO and also had a 72 Lemans which had both these items in it, not sure if it was interchangeable, looked like it would plug right up but couldn't bring myself to take it out of the car before selling it, I'm just not that way.

I got lucky with a ashtray I bought but usually when you do find the ashtray still in a car or just purchase one, the fiber optic line and socket are not with it or are long gone.

Not sure what years and body types are interchangeable, probably a good many, perhaps Ames could help some folks out and turn a profit along the way.

This looks like it will work as a replacement.

Yes the fiber optic is the same and will press into the socket. The 68 socket is a little different on the ash tray side, but the back of the speedo cluster is the same. Did you know on 68, there is another fiber optic around the ignition switch. As I was removing an original ignition switch in a 68 Lemans, I notices another large ring around the switch. I followed it up to the speedo cluster and removed it and learned about the second fiber optic. If you need an original cable, PM me. Thanks.

That actually looks like it would work, seems as if they are more prevalent than I thought.
