Well Brad i wanted to make what i thought at the time a car Pontiac should have. I fit the gills, put in the G/P tail light rear panel and i have NOS G/P grills thats going on it also. 389 tri-power, posi, tilt AM/FM, tach, electric windows. We've owned this car for about 30 years. I never do things like this to these cars but 25 years ago i fit the 2+2 and G/P parts on it and decided to dig it out of the corner 7 years ago and finish it. Body work came out flawless.

Yea its a mild custom. The only thing i done to the interior was take out the plastic above the glove box door that says Bonneville and put the one from a 2+2 in it that just says Pontiac. The funny thing is people who don't know the Pontiac's think this car is suppose to be like i have it now.

Both my 66 Starchief and my 66 Catalina wagon are getting them installed. Thanks to Steve Ames for the repro parking light lenses, they both now look great!

I like it very much. You'll get a car nobody else has.
What's the plan for rocker moldings? A thin one, like the 2+2, or the big Bonneville moldings? A friend of mine built a 2+2 wagon out of a '66 Bonneville station wagon. Pics and story about it here: http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...d.php?t=756416

Looks like you took the various 66 full size models and assembled the components YOU liked best from several models. And yet, all together it looks stock like it COULD have come that way. You will have plenty of people scratching their heads over it. I would contend it's the X400, nobody ever talks about!! Looks nice.
