Gas Monkey Firebird convertible
Anyone else see the past couple of episodes of 'Fast & Loud' where they restored a 67 or 68 Firebird convertible? They did a decent job on the resto BUT the price it sold for--$135,000???? Are you kidding me? That would be a world record, by about double!!

Not the same Tom. This car was painted blue. Not the supposed first 2. This was new episode.

TV is fake. Sales are fake. Numbers are inflated. I have first hand experience.

Quit watching that show a while ago, but I tuned in because Butler build the motor and not a LS. Turned out pretty nice. Not a big fan of the tires/wheels, but I wouldn't kick it out of my garage.

It is a TV show. More about the personalities and drama than factual information. Many other "reality shows" have followed this same formula. More about sensationalism and shock value for ratings than truth.

Seems like a top notch list of parts they put in there. I wouldn't kick it out of the garage if it were dripping a little oil. |

Just wondering what do you guys think it cost to build that car? All in paying your employees parts etc....

Whats up with the front parking lights..... that's the first thing I saw, very odd.

Good catch. Appears they used a 1967 Camaro valence and parking lights. And may I say... ew.

Agreed. Both Birds had good valences. Why put an ugly Camaro one on it?
