Front coil springs
Right now I have 1 inch lowering springs in the front of my 65 gto, rides way to hard, thinking of putting stock moog 5244 in to gain ride height back, does anyone have any recommendations on front springs?

Do you know what pound springs you currently have? You'll want that info to help you make a decision, since ride height and spring stiffness are two different variables. Also, should you consider what shocks you have? Did you install them at the same time you installed the lowering springs?

You should take a look to see if you can find a part number on your springs so you can confirm their stiffness. Also, Bilstein shocks are usually on the stiffer end of the spectrum, so they are probably contributing to your issue as well.

Get the springs from the sponsor of this forum, they have a range to choose from, specific for Pontiac. Rather from a general spring supplier, where the customer before is sourcing springs for a Ford, the one after for a Chebby.........

good luck . I got a set from Detroit spring . they lifted car 2 inches over stock height . they told me to drive it 50 miles or so it will set. no answer when i asked why the factory springs were correct when installed at factory.
the wire size and coil height matter in both height and ride guilty. generally springs are measured in lbs. per inch of travel 350 450 550 650 ect. sold them a Carlisle for 40.00 bucks . 160.00 loss |

I´m using for 1965-66 GTO recommended TRW/MOOG 5244 on my 1966 GTO since 25+ years and they are still fine.
