Mine came today; thank you Tom for making this happen. I still have my "well-loved" original, but now I have another one to use.
Of course, for those that have to have one of the originals, one is currently listed on the bookstores website at $166. (but they do offer free shipping)! Jon

That show was so awesome being with the Humbler GTO. And the guy that invented the VOE muffler was with me showing off the VOE model. You can hear it by scanning the QR code in the book too!

Thank you Tom for starting this thread!
I was recently helping a friend clean out a storage unit where I found Dad's book in excellent original condition. I don't think it was ever opened. I just got done reading it and learned a lot. So the questions I had after reading it were answered by you, here in this thread. |

Got a pleasant surprise yesterday when my copy of the book showed up a day early. Thanks for putting this together Tom. I've only owned my Firebird for 3 years. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about Pontiac engines and history behind them. This book will be a big help and a welcome edition to my growing collection.

I held off on speaking up, and hadn't tried to get in qeue to buy one because I have the original print that I bought when it was new;
But now some of the little extras included in this printing are having me rethink this. Are they all spoken for? When last posted (March 27th), it read like 60/75 were spoken for. If I missed out, that's ok too.

Update . Please note I am out but Wade will have some sooner than I will. Maybe in a couple for weeks his should be in stock. And, he can handle all sorts of payments.
Thank you all! Tom Hand April 6, 2023 Greetings! Due to an apparent “mishap” in the USPS, I was shorted about 10 books and because of this, I am now out. However, never fear. Our friends at BOP Engineering are now set up to carry the reprinted book. They should be in stock in just a few short few weeks. As a reminder, this “new” book, “Hot to Build High Performance Pontiac V8s” is a reprint of Jim Hand’s 2003 book, “Hot to Build Max Performance Pontiac V8s”. It does not contain any new technical information and in fact, contains many names of companies that may no longer be in business. This reprint is not intended to be an update; if you need an updated/different version, Rocky Rotella’s book is the newest offering of the original CarTech title. This was reprinted to help those who were not able to get a copy before it went out of print in 2013. With envelope, each book will ship at a bit less than two pounds. Shipping will be around $7 and BOP can let you know when you email or call them. The price will also be set by BOP and it should be right at $30. Please contact Wade at: info@bopengineering.com Or, call them at: (920) 674-6058 BOP Engineering N3651 Schmidt Rd Jefferson WI 53549-9768 Phone (920) 674-6058 Fax (920) 674-6059 Thank you all so much. Dad and I and the team at BOP Engineering are happy to provide this new version of the original book. Tom Hand 816 810 3085
